Dr Francesca Abii currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of US Africa Business Consultants. She holds a Doctorate degree in Management. Her extensive professional career spans the following areas: Project management, Quality management, Quality assurance, process development, process management, and business and systems analysis. She is a seasoned practitioner with research interests in the following areas: change management, project management, process development and implementation, and organizational development.
Dr Abii is also a certified project management professional (PMP) and a certified ISO auditor. She has managed several software development and infrastructure projects and has a sound knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) methodology. Her expertise also includes developing and implementing project management processes for civilian and government clients.
Dr Abii has led and participated in several process development and process implementation efforts. She has advanced knowledge working with the CMMI, CMM, and ISO models. She has also assisted several companies in achieving ISO and CMMI certification. Her process experience also includes training project staff on newly implemented processes & developing and maintaining best practice repositories.
Dr Abii also has several years of Quality Control (QC) experience which includes monitoring and controlling work products against product specifications and performing root cause analysis to identify the cause of quality issues.
